App Information

Terms Of Use

Effective November 1, 2026

second-brain is Dan Martell’s personal local tool for authorized YouTube analytics and publishing. It is intended for the owner’s use, with no external-user sign-up or hosted channel-management service.

Authorized Channel Work

Use the tool only with channels and content you are authorized to manage. Approve the selected video, destination channel, title, description, audience declaration, privacy setting, and publication time before initiating an upload. Connecting a Google account is authorization for the stated API access, not blanket approval to publish every local video.

Only upload content for which you have the necessary rights. Respect YouTube’s policies and the privacy of people appearing in the content.

YouTube And Google Terms

This tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google and YouTube’s processing of information is explained in the Google Privacy Policy. Read the second-brain Privacy Policy before authorizing or using the tool.

Publishing And Availability

The tool can submit new videos privately or with a future YouTube publication time. YouTube controls processing, policy checks, feature availability, Shorts classification, and publication. Confirm important publication outcomes in YouTube Studio. API authorization, quotas, network interruptions, and platform changes may affect operation.

The current publisher cannot change the schedule of an existing upload. Make those changes in YouTube Studio. Adding broader API permissions requires separate authorization.

Account Control

Keep the computer and local authorization files protected. Do not share OAuth tokens or upload-session records. The owner can stop local jobs and revoke access in Google Account connections. The privacy policy explains local deletion and the treatment of videos already uploaded.

Changes

These terms describe the current personal tool. If its audience, access, or behavior changes, its terms and privacy disclosures must be updated to reflect that change before the new use begins.
